Research interests:

My current project is mainly focused on identification and characterisation of double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) mycoviruses that infect and alter the pathogenic ability of plant pathogenic fungus Rhizoctonia solani, potentially leading to future development of novel biocontrol strategies to manage sheath blight diseases of rice in India.
